Our first taste of the 3-month-old Ambar Chicago , which has quickly become one of River North’s standout new spots, was memorable, delicious and infinitely fulfilling thanks to its “ Dining Without Limits ” approach to Balkan cuisine. Instead of sticking to just one or two entrées, guests pay a flat fee and enjoy as many small plates as they like, with the option to keep sampling until they’re ready to stop or pop.

The menu covers more than 40 dishes at both lunch and dinner. Lunch is priced at about $27.99, while dinner is $56.99, and both offer a wide mix of flavors.
