Another Winston will be heading to Tallahassee.

Hoover standout Jonah Winston has committed to Florida State, he announced on social media Saturday evening in conjunction with On3’s Hayes Fawcett.

The announcement comes during Winston’s visit to Doak S. Campbell Stadium for Florida State’s 31-17 upset win against Alabama .

Winston recently told AL.com his other top contenders included Arkansas, Florida International and Maryland.

“Of course you know Florida State is home,” he recently told AL.com on the program. “The atmosphere is great there. I grew up there.

“They like my versatility. They can put me at different spots and like what I can do with the ball in my hands, make short plays into big ones.”
