HARRIMAN, Tennessee — The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is investigating a shooting that happened early Saturday morning in Harriman that resulted in the death of 18-year-old Holden Howse.

Howse suffered a gunshot wound to the head and was taken to the University of Tennessee Medical Center where he was pronounced dead.

According to a release from the 9th District Attorney Russell Johnson, Harriman Police arrived at Mr. Clean vehicle and boat detailing business where more than 20 teenagers and young adults were having a "party" at approximately 4:30 a.m.

The Mr. Clean business is owned by a member of the Harriman City Council, and an adult family member was present as a witness and is considered to be a possible "host" of the party, according to the DA.
