HARRISON, N.J. (WCMH) -- An attempt by the New York Red Bulls during second-half extra time Saturday night sailed over the goal, allowing the Crew to escape with a 0-0 tie.
Dylan Nealis had the Red Bulls' final attempt from the center of the box. Patrick Schulte was in goal, and he was credited with four saves.
Daniel Gazdag got off a right-footed shot from outside the box in the 65th minute for the Crew, but Carlos Coronel stopped the attempt. It marked the Crew's only shot on goal.
The Crew picked up a point in the standings, moving to 46 in the Eastern Conference with a 12-6-10 record. The team hasn't won in MLS play since July 19, a streak of four games.
