CARTERET COUNTY, N.C. (WITN) - Labor Day is upon us, which means that the end of summer is also right around the corner, and for many people on the East Coast, there’s no better way to spend this time than on the beach.
“Yeah, typically we try to get out of the city and just be out in nature, be with family and friends, loved ones,” one visitor, Freddey Malcolroy, told WITN.
Malcolroy, wasn’t the only one to express his excitement to be at the beach. Moriah and Enrico Randolph, newlyweds, also went to the beach Saturday to escape regular routine.
“It’s the big one for us. We’re just here for the day before back to our routine,” Randolph told WITN.
