HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- It started with two friends playing what appeared to be a game and ended with one of them dead and the other charged with killing him.

"We are in a situation here where this is a real danger to the community because the defendant gets intoxicated and uses weapons irresponsibly," a Harris County judge said.

Sean O'Donnell is now behind bars after he was accused of shooting his friend inside his home in this Spring neighborhood on Aug.17.

According to the Harris County Sheriff's Office, the two took turns shooting at each other while one wore a helmet.

"The defendant and his friend were playing with guns. They were drinking. They were shooting at a kevlar helmet," the judge said.

That's when the judge says the victim was shot.
