Deputies have successfully located 87-year-old Elfriede Gluck Smith, who was the subject of a Silver Alert over the weekend.

PINELLAS COUNTY, Fla. – A Silver Alert issued for an 87-year-old woman with memory issues has been canceled after she was safely located.

Deputies found Elfri ede Gluck Smith at approximately 2:35 p.m. on Sunday, August 31, 2025. She was the subject of a Silver Alert issued on Saturday after she went missing from her Oldsmar residence.

Smith was believed to be driving a gray 2013 Hyundai hatchback and may have been traveling to the Sarasota area to visit family. The Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office has confirmed she is no longer considered missing and is safe.
