FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — A University of Arkansas junior went viral after posting a TikTok expressing concern over the university's response to Monday's active shooter hoax. Now, she's telling us what guidance she's giving university leaders.

Genna Crafton was inside Mullins Library on Monday, during reports of an active school shooter in that building.

"I see people just running for the exit... we didn't know what was happening. And someone else said there are shots fired in Mullins and then we look, and there's three police cars in the union mall, and another one pulls up next to us," Crafton said. "And so, we're like, oh, we need to go."

Crafton described the experience as traumatizing and feared for her life because of all the misinformation.
