ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – Albuquerque drivers may be feeling more speed bumps on their daily routes. It's largely due to neighbors asking the city to help curb speeding on their streets.

The City of Albuquerque said you may have noticed more speed bumps across the city as 35 new ones have been installed so far this year. The latest was just added on Tingley Dr. at the request of neighbors who said people drive by going well over the speed limit.

"They keep traffic slow, which is really great, especially in neighborhood areas, and here these are all right by pedestrian crossings," said Dan Mayfield, Department of Municipal Development.
