Bonuses for Ryanair staff who catch out passengers with oversized baggage are set to be increased.
According to chief executive Michael O’Leary, incentives for gate staff who intercept passengers attempting to take oversized luggage onboard will rise.
He said he makes 'absolutely no apology' for catching out passengers who he claims are 'scamming the system'.
The airline boss made the comments at a press conference in central London.
Mr O’Leary said Ryanair is likely to increase bonuses from 1.50 euros (£1.29) to 2.50 euros (£2.16) per bag from November.
Along with this, a monthly cap of 80 euros (£68.98) is set to be scrapped.
