Organic September is about to get underway - a month when we're all encouraged to consider the benefits of including organic produce in our lives.
As a mum of two, I admit I've tried to swap to organic products where I can in recent years, particularly when it comes to fruit and vegetables, to reduce the levels of artificial additives in the food I prepare for myself and my family .
It feels like more and more people are trying to ditch their dependence on "ultra-processed foods" in general amid studies into the harm they may cause , and return to more whole foods for a healthy diet , and seeing organic in the title of a product gives you reassurance that it has met high standards of farming and animal welfare.
Foods and products can only be labelled as organic if they meet strict
