MOORHEAD -- After making its local debut in 2013 at the now defunct The Venue, The Avett Brothers had worked Fargo-Moorhead into its regular tours, returning in 2015 at the Fargo Civic Center and 2019 at Moorhead’s Bluestem Amphitheater.

The group was scheduled to return in 2021, but postponed the show due to COVID concerns and then later canceled the show altogether.

The group made up for lost time Saturday night when it returned to Bluestem, putting on its best show yet in the area. The crowd of 2,611 would agree, with most of the fans on their feet for the entire show.
