The Premier League's two favorites face off on Sunday, with defending champion Liverpool hosting runner-up Arsenal at Anfield in an early-season matchup that could set the tone for the 2025-26 title race.

"Someone has to come and take that crown away from them, and that's what we, the rest, are going to try to do," Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta told reporters.

Each team has picked up a full six points in the first two matches of the season, with Liverpool needing dramatic late winners to defeat Bournemouth and Newcastle United, while Arsenal dispatched Manchester United in their opener and Leeds United last weekend.

Liverpool is winless in its last six league games against Arsenal, drawing both meetings last season.

Arsenal is without Bukayo Saka, who will miss at least a few weeks with a hamstring injury.

What time is Arsenal vs Liverpool?

Sunday's match at Anfield is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. ET.
