STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — August has a been a crazy and wonderful month in food. I took so many photos and had mostly great things to report, so it’s been a prolific month to say the least. Here are some images that made me smile and I’d like to share that with you.

I happened upon them in the middle of Annadale while people milled around the fantastical South Shore BID annual restaurant crawl. These two served up lemonade and bottles of water to unwitting folks looking for the next best bite at restaurants.
