MAPLE HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - One young boy is dead and two others are injured after a shooting in Maple Heights Saturday night.

According to Maple Heights Police, officers responded to the 5200 block of Thomas Street for reports of gunshots and people wounded around 10 p.m.

When officers arrived, they found two young boys with gunshot wounds, and they were transported to Metro Health Medical Center.

As the officers continued their investigation, they found another young boy with gunshot wounds on Cato Street.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The Maple Heights Detective Bureau is investigating this shooting.
