PORT GLASGOW – Residents of a seasonal trailer park who were previously involved in a land dispute with the local government say they’re anxious over new regulations implemented by officials.

Port Glasgow Trailer Park – about 70 kilometres southwest of London – is in the municipality of West Elgin. Adam Lumley, a nine-year park resident, said he and his neighbours have received a letter from the municipality, which owns the land, indicating new rules would be instituted for residents effective this year, causing unease.

“This used to be an extremely joyous community, it was always intended to (be), and if you go way back to when it was established it was a place for gathering and reunion,” Lumley said. “Now, instead of people enjoying the park and their time here, all they have is anxiet
