A drive-by mass shooting in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood left seven people injured on Saturday night.
According to Chicago police, a large gathering was underway in the 3500 block of South State Street at approximately 11 p.m. when multiple suspects drove by in a vehicle.
At least one of the suspects pulled out a weapon and opened fire, striking a total of seven people.
All seven of the victims, five men and two women, suffered various injuries, with all seven listed in good condition at area hospitals following the attack.
No suspects were in custody as of Sunday morning, and Area One detectives are investigating.
