Celebrity chef and restaurateur Gordon Ramsay revealed he was previously diagnosed with skin cancer , which he confirmed was removed, in a post shared on his Instagram account Saturday (August 30).

Ramsay, 58, shared two photos of himself, which included one with a bandage over part of his face and neck and another with stitches from his earlobe to the top of his neck.

"Grateful and so appreciative for the incredible team at The Skin Associates and their fast reactive work on removing this Basal Cell Carcinoma thank you ! Please don’t forget your sunscreen this weekend ❤️I promise you it’s not a face lift! I’d need a refund…….😜" Ramsay wrote in the caption of the post.
