Hollywood funded Wrexham are “in talks” with Coventry City over a potential deal for Ben Sheaf.

That’s according to Daily Telegraph football reporter Mike McGrath who claims he’s been informed by sources at the Championship newcomers that the Sky Blues midfielder is of interest ahead of Monday’s transfer deadline day.

The 27-year-old was linked with a number of clubs last summer but admitted to CoventryLive recently that he wasn’t aware of any interest in the current transfer window.

However, that appears to have changed with McGrath posting on X: “Wrexham are in talks over a deal for Coventry midfielder Ben Sheaf, according to sources at the Welsh club. The 27-year-old has been a Championship regular for five seasons and part of team on brink of FA Cup final.”
