UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, Ohio (WOIO) - University Heights Mayor Michael Dylan Brennan thanked the Shaker Heights Police for apprehending a man accused of causing damage to property with bullets during “target practice.”

According to a social media post, a man engaged in target practice in his backyard with a firearm, and the bullet damaged a property on Hadleigh Road in University Heights.

Brennan said, thankfully, no one was injured.

The Shaker Heights, South Euclid, Beachwood and University Heights police departments apprehended the man in Shaker Heights on Fairmount Boulevard.

“The timely and coordinated response led to a positive outcome. Suspect apprehended and in custody with SHPD,” Brennan said.
