CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - Cleveland’s Director of Port Control held an informational meeting with members of the media Wednesday to explain why the city feels the Browns’ proposed Brook Park dome is a threat to Cleveland Hopkins International Airport (CLE).

The members of the media was not allowed to record any portion of the meeting that started with Director Bryant Francis reading a prepared statement.

In the statement, Francis explained the safety of CLE is his top priority.

“Any proposed structure, regardless of its builder or owner, that could impact the safety or operations of the airport is a serious concern,” Francis read.
