Plymouth Auction Rooms is counting down to what is expected to be one of its busiest and most exciting auctions in recent years, as the two-day estate sale of the Tony Martin Collection on September 2 and 3 draws near.

Tony ran his antique shop in East Looe for over 50 years, with a reputation throughout Cornwall and the wider Westcountry as a true gentleman of the trade. He passed away in December 2024 at the age of 84, leaving behind an extraordinary collection of antiques and artworks.

Several hundred online bidders have already registered for the estate sale, with interest coming in from as far afield as China and California. The auction team has completed over 500 condition reports in preparation.
