It will be another hot day across the Tennessee Valley, but as we head into the beginning of the work week, temperatures will begin to drop—especially later in the week.

Highs today will hover around 90 degrees, with plenty of sunshine to go around. Isolated showers could start popping up around lunchtime and continue into the early evening, particularly east of I-65.

Looking ahead to Labor Day, rain chances will increase. Scattered showers will be possible throughout the afternoon and evening hours, with high temperatures reaching the mid-80s.
