Edinburgh cyclist Lauren Dickson, 25, has signed a two year deal with crack professional team TDJ-Suez and she will compete on next year’s world tour for the French outfit.
Lauren joins from Handsling-Alba having made remarkable progress with them in little more than a year.
Highlights which clearly caught the eye of her new team include finishing thir in the Tour of Norway, seventh in the Tour de Feminis and a creditable debut in the Tour of Britain in June.
After paying tribute to the Handsling-Alba team which gave her a big chance, Lauren said:
“Looking forwards I endeavour to give my all and continue learning and progressing with FDJ-Suez. My long term ambitions are to race the Grand Tours but next year I want to focus on perfecting race raft and doing my best for our leaders.”
