VICTOR LINDELOF could be about to swap Manchester United for Aston Villa.

The 31-year-old Swedish defender could not get a game under struggling manager Ruben Amorim .

But Villa boss Unai Emery still sees some value in the versatile ace who once cost the Old Trafford club £31million.

The unfancied Swede has been training with his hometown club, Vasteras SK, after his contract with United ran out at the end of last season.

And Fabrizio Romano claims Lindelof is undergoing a medical that will help him pick the Prem aside ahead of Serie A side Fironetina.

Lindelof was earmarked to be a major star when United snapped him up but he - along with so many other signings - has floundered.
