TUSTIN, Calif. (KABC) -- A man was arrested Friday after Tustin police found nearly 90 canisters of nitrous oxide in his Maserati.
The Tustin Police Department shared a photo of the inside of the vehicle on its Instagram , which shows the cans scattered across the driver and passenger seats.
Police said the canisters were "to be used as an intoxicating inhalant."
The cans are also referred to as "whippets" or "whip-its" and are usually popular among teenagers or younger adults.
The case remains under investigation.
