Delta Air Lines is reportedly set to drop its seasonal service on the transatlantic corridor between New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and London Gatwick Airport (LGW), according to media reports. The airline has not yet issued an official confirmation.

This would not be the first time the Atlanta-based carrier has pulled out of this market. In August 2023, the airline was reported to have temporarily suspended the route , which was reintroduced in April 2023 after a 15-year hiatus. Now, if Delta withdraws, Norway’s long-haul low-cost carrier, Norse Atlantic Airways, will become the sole operator on the JFK-LGW route.
