Scots actor Jack Lowden has been made tipped to take on the role of James Bond. Lowden was recommended for the part of 007 by Saul Metzstein who directed him in the hit TV show Slow Horses.
Glaswegian-Metzstein said Lowden, 35, could easily step into the shoes of the spy who had been immortalised by Sir Sean Connery.
He said: “Jack Lowden would make a fantastic James Bond. He has the physicality but also the comedic touches. He is getting better and better. The key to James Bond is his wit and Jack has that lightness.”
