BEAUREGARD, Ala. (WTVM) - Multiple East Alabama agencies worked together to extinguish an early morning structure fire in the community of Beauregard.

According to the BVFD, they were called to a reported structure fire. Upon arrival, the structure was found fully on fire.

BVFD personnel quickly deployed multiple hand lines and proceeded to start fire suppression. An interior fire attack was also done to suppress multiple hot areas of the B side of the structure.

Upon extinguishing the fire, around 16,000 gallons of water were used. BVFD responded with 8 personnel and 4 apparatus and were on scene for 6 hours.

Lee County EMA and the Lee County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the fire.
