Tyrone Mings admits Aston Villa weren’t at the races against Crystal Palace.

Unai Emery’s side fell to a 3-0 defeat at Villa Park, ending a 22-match unbeaten run on home soil in all competitions.

Jean-Philippe Mateta opened the scoring from the spot in the 21st minute, before Marc Guehi and Ismaila Sarr added two more in the second half.

"It was not good,” Mings admitted on Sky Sports. “The goals we conceded are really poor.

"I have seen some tough times at this club and this isn't necessarily one of them. Now is the time to stick together.
