GADSDEN COUNTY, Fla. (WCTV) - A multi-vehicle crash occurred Sunday afternoon on I-10 West in Gadsden County after a vehicle caught fire, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
Near mile marker 183, at about 3 p.m., an older model sedan vehicle went ablaze, causing wetbound traffic to slow down, an FHP spokesperson said. The passengers and driver were able to get out without injuries, according to FHP.
As the vehicle on fire continued to go up in flames, a 20-year-old Tallahassee man driving a Jeep “was not paying attention,” and crashed into the back of the Nissan in front of him, FHP said.
The Nissan was driven by a 44-year-old Quincy woman and was carrying four people, troopers said. The Nissan then crashed into a Nissan ahead of it that was driven by a 39-year-old Orlando woman wi
