CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. – A man from the Chicago suburbs drowned late Saturday evening in the Lake of the Ozarks.
According to a drowning incident report filed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the drowning happened around 11:15 p.m. at Public Beach 2 in Camden County.
The highway patrol said the man entered the water “by unknown means” and did not resurface.
The man, a Glenwood, Illinois, resident, was pronounced dead at 1:50 a.m. Sunday. He was 19.
The report said the man was not wearing a life jacket at the time.
