A second person has drowned at Cultus Lake near Chilliwack.
According to B.C. Emergency Health Services spokesperson Bowen Osoko, an air ambulance was dispatched to the lake at 7:15 p.m. on Aug. 30 with reports of a water-related incident.
“An ambulance with primary care paramedics and an air ambulance helicopter with critical care paramedics were dispatched while bystanders provided initial emergency first aid,” Osoko said.

One patient received emergency medical treatment. No patients were transported to hospital.
The tragedy came three days after a man drowned in the Entrance Bay area of the popular summer camping and water sports area.
