CHICAGO (WGN) — It’s been a violent Labor Day Weekend so far in Chicago with more than a dozen shootings across the city in 40 hours.
Since Friday at 5 p.m., 21 shootings have left five people dead and an additional 33 victims injured, police say. No arrests have been made in any of the incidents.
The tragic weekend comes as the Trump administration prepares for an increased presence of federal agents and a potential mobilization of National Guard troops in Chicago.
