MACON, Ga. — A man is dead after crashing into a west Macon church following a chase with multiple officers from the Bibb County Sheriff's Office , according to the Georgia State Patrol (GSP).
They said that a man driving a white Infiniti Q70 was initially involved in a chase with a Bibb County deputy. Coroner Leon Jones said the man's name is Larry Sellers Jr., 37, and he's from Macon.
They said the sheriff's office started the chase on Napier Avenue near Fairmont Avenue. GSP added that deputies stopped chasing the car after it drove east of Napier Avenue.
GSP said that, sometime after the sheriff's office stopped chasing the vehicle, Macon-Bibb 911 got a call that a white Infinity crashed into a church within the 3000 block of Napier Avenue.
