Santa Fe police have yet to locate the suspect in a Saturday night stabbing at a local convenience store.

Officers were dispatched to the Allsup's on Calle Lorca around 11 p.m. Saturday following reports of a stabbing, Deputy Chief Ben Valdez wrote in a news release Sunday.

Police found the victim, a man who had been stabbed twice in the back, near his shoulder. He told officers an unknown man had started an argument with him, and after he turned away, the man stabbed him and then ran down the street.

The victim was treated by paramedics and taken to a local hospital, Valdez wrote. His injuries are not life-threatening.
