OCEAN CITY, N.J. (WPVI) -- It's been a winner of a weekend at the Jersey Shore.
The beaches were packed day on Monday, and for good reason. Beachgoers were relishing their time down at the shore this Labor Day weekend marking the unofficial end to the summer season.
The beach was full of families enjoying below average temperatures and low humidity on the final day of August.
"The air is fresh out here, it smells great. I'm taking it in," said Aisha Young of Blackwood, NJ.
"As you can see we're out here in sweats so we're not hot but we don't want to be too cold once the temperature starts to drop."
This weekend is one last chance for businesses to rake in sales as large crowds and visitors will soon start dying down, but for now there's plenty of traffic on the boardwalk.
