PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- A weakening coastal storm will allow for some late-day brightening tomorrow, especially in the northwest, ahead of a cooler and sunny midweek.

Here is what you can expect with impacts from our lingering coastal storm

-Rainfall: the highest totals will be along the immediate coast with 1-3" possible

-Significant beach erosion and coastal flooding

-Strong onshore winds with the highest gusts at the shore up to 60mph possible. Over interior South Jersey, gusts up to 50mph can't be ruled out. For the rest of the region winds may gust up to 40mph.
