Prime Video has handed a series order to The Chosen Adventures , an animated adventure comedy series about Jesus of Nazareth, from Amazon MGM Studios and Dallas Jenkins’ 5&2 Studios banner.

The series, which consists of 14 11-minute episodes, will premiere on Prime Video in the U.S. and internationally in the UK, Latin America, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, and Sub Saharan Africa.

Written by Ryan Swanson ( The Chosen ), The Chosen Adventures follows nine-year-old Abby and her best friend Joshua as they navigate life in the ancient city of Capernaum.
