SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Reverend Robert N. Lauderdale officially became the 24th pastor of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Sioux City Sunday.

The instillation service, which took place in the Sioux City Convention Center, was attended by many people in the community as well as visitors from many other states.

Many people gave special tributes and words of encouragement to Pastor Lauderdale and his wife, First Lady Melinda Lauderdale.

Special guests included Mayor Bob Scott and national gospel recording artist Chester DT Baldwin.

Pastor Lauderdale said he is committed to work in the community to help those who are in need.
