Sunday was another nice summer day across central and south Alabama, perfect for the outdoors for Labor Day weekend and a nice way to end the month of August. The sky was partly to mostly sunny with no rain during the afternoon. Temperatures were rather warm, with highs in the mid to upper 80s. However, humidity was less than it could be in late August, and there was an east breeze of 5 to 10 mph.
The sky becomes mostly clear Sunday night, with lows in the mid to upper 60s. Labor Day’s weather looks pleasant too, with a partly to mostly sunny sky, essentially no rain, and high temperatures in the mid to upper 80s. The first week of September features warmer weather overall, with high temperatures in the upper 80s to around 90° each day.
