SANTA FE, N.M. —
Police are looking for the suspect in a stabbing that happened Saturday night at an Allsups store at 3007 Calle Lorca, a Santa Fe Police Department news release said.
SFPD officers came to the store around 10:50 p.m. in response to a report that a man had been stabbed during a fight.
The victim told police that a man he didn't know started an argument, then threatened him. When he turned away, the suspect stabbed him twice in the back, then fled on foot toward the Evergreen Apartments. Officers searched the area but didn't find him, the release said.
The victim was treated at the scene by Santa Fe Fire Department paramedics, then transported to the hospital. His wounds were not life-threatening.
