A Pittsburgh nun known for her fearless confrontations with crime chased down a suspected credit card thief who threatened to shoot her at her religious goods store, according to a report.

Sister Mary Madalyn Schleifer, who runs the Sacred Heart of Jesus store in Bloomfield, sprang into action earlier this week after a customer reported her credit cards had been stolen while shopping, KDKA reported. 3

The nun then made a split-second decision to chase after the alleged credit card thief and was able to recover the snatched cards, according to the outlet.
