BURLINGTON, Iowa. (KWQC) - One person was injured after a stabbing in Burlington Sunday morning.

Police said they arrested Alfred Knox, 69 of Burlington after they responded to a disturbance in the 500 block of S. Central Ave. in Burlington.

When police arrived, they found an unidentified man with a stab wound to the abdomen and he was taken to a hospital for treatment.

Knox was taken to the Des Moines County Jail and booked with charges of willful injury causing bodily harm.
