SACRAMENTO, Calif. —

Sacramento's new entertainment zone law went into effect for the first time during the Rainbow Festival, allowing attendees to carry drinks from bar to bar within a designated area.

Taylor Pecha, who creates sake cocktails at Omakase Por Favor, a new Midtown restaurant, said, "A lot of people are kind of confused as to what's going on. I think that people aren't realizing that you can take cocktails to go."

Pecha said all the establishments have the same branded cup and wristband for attendees to participate in the entertainment zone.
