Two utility vehicles were stolen in a night of mayhem in Alice Springs and later used to steal five motorcycles from a business and carry out a home invasion, NT Police said, with both vehicles eventually ramming police cars and the teen occupants throwing rocks at police, with five youths eventually arrested.

Police received reports of the two utility vehicles being stolen from a residence on Price Street around 3:40am Monday morning, where they allege the vehicles travelled to a second house along the Stuart Highway where the group broke into the home and threated the occupants with an “edged weapon and a tyre iron”.
