A man who ran a now-defunct pawn shop on Market Street in Wilmington has pleaded guilty to using the shop as part of a scheme to sell millions of dollars in stolen goods.
Nathaniel Leonard of Philadelphia pleaded guilty to conspiracy to sell and transport stolen property in federal court in late August.
He ran the now-closed Lou’s Jewelry and Pawn in Wilmington, as well as two others shops in Philadelphia, and used the businesses to purchase and then resell merchandise stolen from retailers like Target, Walmart and Best Buy, according to federal prosecutors.
