A 21-year-old man from Midland is now facing charges after Southern Georgian Bay OPP was on patrol for suspicious vehicles in Tiny Township.

A Sergeant from the detachment was conducting a neighbourhood patrol, and found a person on a dirt bike in a neighbourhoood at around 11:30 Saturday night.

The officer stopped the bike, after it was seen driving without lights or licence plats on the roadway. After speaking to the driver, it became an impaired driving investigation.

The driver is charged with operating while impaired, in addition to a number of provincial violations.

He’s expected in court later this month.
