Crews from the Signal Mountain Fire Department were called in for a rescue operation Sunday from the trails near the popular Rainbow Lake. Walden’s Ridge Emergency Services assisted in the effort.

The person who was rescued is said to be injured.

Signal Mountain FD also advised that the area around the area around Ohio Avenue was very congested, and asked that people to avoid the area.

Mutual aid companies from off the mountain responded to cover calls on the mountain.
