Relief on the way? Rain chances are present over the next few days. Today, rain chances are greatest in western Missouri. Rain that does occur will be light to moderate and intermittent. While a few showers may be strong enough to produce a rumble of thunder, the risk for thunderstorms overall remains low. Rain chances continue through the week, with the best chances Wednesday into Thursday. This will be our best shot at heavy downpours across mid-Missouri in a long time.
